Bible Exhibition for Schools

Bringing the Bible to life for local schoolchildren

Each spring, Bethel Community Church welcomes children from local primary schools to an exciting and interactive Bible Exhibition.

Led by Jem Hudson from Foundation Matters in Derby, the exhibition brings Bible stories to life through colourful illustrated displays, storytelling and hands-on activities.

The exhibition follows a three-year programme, exploring different parts of the Bible:

  • The Amazing Journey – From Genesis to Revelation

  • The Life of Jesus – Discovering the life and teaching of Jesus

  • The Amazing Acts – Exploring the early Church

As children make their way through the exhibition, they discover fascinating stories from the Bible, with some characters even coming to life to tell their own stories!

There are plenty of opportunities to get involved, including dressing up in Bible-times clothing, tasting foods from Bible times and taking part in quizzes and activities.

With support from school staff and the Bethel team, the exhibition provides an enjoyable and engaging learning experience for everyone involved.
